IMAF Czech Republic relie le milieu des arts martiaux et des sports de combat en République tchèque.
Notre mission est de soutenir la coopération des écoles, instructeurs et organisations, le développement professionnel et la transmission responsable de l’expérience. La base est le respect des traditions et l’ouverture aux disciplines contemporaines.
Le champ d’action de la fédération dépasse un seul pays d’origine, une seule discipline ou une seule conception de l’entraînement. Les arts japonais, coréens, chinois et européens y côtoient la boxe, le MMA et d’autres sports de combat.
Des valeurs communes tout en préservant l’identité de chaque école.

01Japanese martial artsBudō traditions and individual schools
Jūdō (柔道), karatedō (空手道), aikidō (合気道), jūjutsu (柔術), iaidō (居合道), kendō (剣道), kobudō (古武道) and other traditional and contemporary Japanese disciplines.
02Korean martial artsTraditional schools and sport disciplines
Taekwondo, hapkido and other Korean disciplines. A space for technical, cultural and sporting diversity and respect for the differences among schools.
03Chinese martial artsDiversity of Chinese traditions
Wushu, kung-fu, taijiquan and other Chinese schools. Traditional systems, weapons work and modern sport approaches.
04European martial artsHEMA and European combat traditions
Historical European martial arts (HEMA), historical fencing and other European traditions. Study of sources, technical practice and responsible transmission.
05Boxing and other combat sportsTechnique, preparation and fair play
Boxing, kickboxing, muay thai and other combat sports. Professionally led preparation, respect for discipline rules and responsibility toward athletes.
06MMA and modern systemsContemporary and combined approaches
Mixed martial arts (MMA), grappling, contemporary self-defense systems and other combined disciplines connecting knowledge from different arts.

A Japanese organization connected with the historical roots of IMAF. Its focus is based on traditional Japanese martial arts.
An independent organization with its own leadership and scope.
1983
The independence of IMAF Europe is an essential milestone for understanding its broad scope today. The European federation therefore cannot be identified only with the Japanese disciplines of Kokusai Budōin IMAF.
